Our curriculum includes emergent reading, math, science and social studies. It is further enhanced with enrichment classes in creative movement, art, music, sign language and computers.

INFANT CARE: (6 weeks - 1 year)

infantA special home for a most special age. Our nursery has been specifically designed to create a warm and secure environment for your infant. Our infant caregivers are nurturing, loving, professionally trained in health, safety, and early child development milestones. We encourage our Moms and Dads to visit during the day, whether to feed their baby or simply to play with them. We strive to set the child’s schedule to remain consistent with their parents’ schedule at home.

 TODDLERS: (1 year - 2 years)

Our nurturing staff understands that caring for toddlers is about building relationships and making the most of everyday experiences and routines, while introducing a comprehensive curriculum. Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor, and social skills. They begin to turn ideas into words and phrases to express themselves. Toddlers begin to practice the concept of sharing and cooperating through group play. Their days are filled with art, music, movement, and outdoor running and climbing. There is also quiet time for books and puzzles.

 TWO'S: (2 years - 3 years)

girl-playdoughTwo’s are anxious to learn. Your child will discover something new each day under the caring eyes of our experienced teachers. They are busy exploring their environment and learning to communicate their thoughts. They will learn to socialize with others and begin to take care of themselves independently. Just as importantly, they need to learn many new skills in thought processing and communicating. Our stimulating program encourages two year olds to develop their minds and bodies in a safe and healthy environment. By encouraging child-directed play, we ensure that your child develops at his own unique pace.

For younger children, we emphasize creativity, storytelling, vocabulary development and socialization. For Junior Kindergarten children, we build upon earlier skills with pre-reading and math aptitudes to enhance basic elementary school readiness which will guide them toward future academic success.

Our Junior Kindergarten's curriculum, Saxon Early Learning provides a comprehensive curriculum of instructional motivating activities.

  • Saxon Early Learning Program fully acknowledges and addresses the many aspects of a strong early childhood curriculum by integrating social, personal and emotional development; oral language development; early literacy skills and love of literature; physical development and movement; health and safety; math; science; social studies; technology; and fine arts.
  • The components of Saxon Early Learning build upon one another and fit together as an integrated whole. Four daily lessons unfold in a predictable, logical order and support the weekly topic in an incremental manner.
  • Saxon Early Learning strives to integrate the valuable contributions of each child into the classroom. Our teachers provide special attention to the needs of English-language learners and all young children who may need oral language support in order to help them benefits fully from the activities in this learning system.
